Dear Realtors,
The number of pictures I see in MLS that are terrible is astounding. Nothing new there...
But seriously, take stuff of the counters for the pictures. I have seen countless pictures of cluttered laundry rooms, food out on the counters, dishes in the sink... and recently, a supra lockbox front and center on the island counter of the kitchen. Seriously???
STOP BEING LAZY! And don't blame the seller.
Sincerely,
The Brian Worrell Team

Just an observation, because it has happened to me, when something shows up in a photo that you don't intend, then crop it or don't put it on the MLS! Make it a part of your mental checklist: Toilet seats down and NO trashcans in the camera lense.
Picnik and Picassa are free for remove some of these items from the photos!
No dogs or cats on the beds, please! Julie
Brian: What you've written is absolutely true. Some of the photos I've seen on the MLS are absolutely astounding. I would NEVER go to look at a house that had a sink full of dirty dishes in an MLS photo if I were in the market to buy a home. I might miss out on a real gem, but there are always so many houses for sale, I'd rather see the ones that are clean and, presumably, well maintained.
hi Brian ~ Good advice here ... indeed, what WERE they thinking when they post all those astonishing photos on the MLS? I think you hit the nail on the head -- they were being lazy. It's not fair to the sellers, and it will just delay offers and a closed sale, and of course -- the commission.
