League City Blog: Realtor Movies

Realtor Movies

Does anyone know of any interesting, funny, classic movies about real estate or Realtors?  I'm in my Netflix account and looking for some funny movies about what Realtors do on a daily basis...

The only one that comes to my mind right now is - The Money Pit - with Tom Hanks.  I'm sure there are some really good ones.  Let me know what your favorites are!

I know that the main character in "I Love You, Man" is an agent but the movie itself is not about real estate. Wish I could be of more help.

Brian, no movies, but someone should do one of odd situations in real estate. At least 178,000 would see it!

Money pit is one of my all time favorites for a comedy and it is so true.

Not about real estate "exactly", but is about land use -- "Local Hero".

Not really too much about real estate but Harry Ford plays a realtor and cop in Hollywood Homicide.  We will be doing a car chase while trying to close a deal.

Plus, there is the old classic Glengary Glen Ross from 1992.

Brian- any other time I would be able to think of some, but I am drawing a blank.  Someone should make some.  It could be truly comical.

Someone needs to produce a film about our industry.  There is just so much "material" out-there that a good screen writer could have a field day with it.

There are a couple of TV Shows that Realtors are the main Characters. "Cougartown" and "Modern Family" are funny and have Realors in them. Cougartown even has a L.O.
