Awesome New Marketing System -- IT'S CHEAP AND AUTOMATED!!

The most successful agents are good at getting clients -- AND are amazing at maintaining them.  Here's a great way to do both!!  It's all about the personal touch.  And really building relationships.

I just found an awesome product to help keep in touch with clients and other contacts. SendOutCards.com allows you to send cards through the Internet to a whole list of contacts or just one person. You can choose from thousands of cards and personalize the greeting with messages, pictures, etc.

The cards are then automatically mailed out with an envelope and postage stamp just like you were sending a Hallmark card. You can even attach a gift card or gourmet food product!

I received a card that someone sent through SendOutCards, and I thought it looked awesome...really professional and personal at the same time. When I called the sender to find out about the product, I was amazed to hear that she had sent the exact same card to 100 people. She said it took her just a couple of minutes to get the whole thing done. I immediately signed up for the service and plan you use it for:

  • Greeting Cards like Hallmark Cards -  REALLY NICE QUALITY
  • Postcards and even 3 panel cards can be done as well...
  • Client appreciation gifts
  • Christmas cards
  • Birthdays
  • Welcome to the Neighborhood - for my farm areas!
  • Get well, congrats, etc...

This system could also could be used effectively to market current listings to other Realtors, or to your sphere...

You can also sign up for a program that pays you if you get other people to sign up if you are into that kind of thing. If you aren't, you can just sign up for a personal account. There is a minimal sign-up charge, but the cards are pretty cheap after that (about 65 cents for a standard Hallmark type card.) Check it out. www.sendoutcards.com

WHEN YOU SIGN UP, it asks you to please Enter Your Sponsor's User ID.  Mine is 99146.  I think I would get some credits for some free cards if you use my ID!!  Would appreciate it!

League City Sales - Are homes selling? Early 2010 Market Report

League City Sales - # of Sales Down, Price Up

League City remains strong in price and sales are not much down over last year.  There were 68 sales in January 2009.  And only 62 in January 2010.  However, December of 2009 had 83 sales.  So we are over 25% down from December to January in number of sales.

The good news is that the sales dollar volume and the average and median price are all UP!

As an expert in Real Estate in the League City area, here's what this all means:

The more expensive homes are now selling.  The strongest sectors selling in 2009 were at or below the $200,000 mark.  Now we are starting to see homes priced higher getting their fair share of attention.  Also, my crystal ball tells me that there will be a big surge in pending sales in March and April for people wanting to take advantage of the tax credit.

And, now that we know NASA's overall budget was increase, we can rest easy knowing that there will be jobs available.  There will be some layoffs probably, but there are are going to be good jobs available to those people.  Basically, programs end, and new ones begin.  So, League City will remain strong.

The chart below represents the entire HAR Multiple Listing Service.  Not just League City, but all of the Houston area.
