Can I legally park in my own driveway?
Here's an interesting question one of my clients recently posed to me... Can I legally park in my own driveway if I buy this house? I'm not sure...
This fire hydrant is about 15 feet from the street. It is in Clear Lake... a suburb in Houston, TX. I asked the opinion of a League City Fireman who replied with some hesitation. One said that they would probably be able to access the hydrant with a car parked next to it... provided it wasn't within a foot or 2...
Another fireman I asked replied that he's not sure, but would love the opportunity to get to break out someones windows to run a hose through to the hydrant!!! Pretty funny answer. He basically shook his head at the terrible planning for the placement of this hydrant!
